only 26 more days left in Hong Kong, i cant wait for Brisbane!

i got a Cannon EO5 500D today for my birthday and i took it to work and harassed the ladies and some customers. here are my two favourite shots of some very cute babies and their mummys.

What A Fat Cat Wants Most

Once again I am sitting in front of the large white contraption that is designed to keep me away from what I desire most. Food. I lift my black paw and scratch at the bottom of the towering box wishing I could somehow open it. Useless.


I decide to try asking my masters. I find one sitting at the table, weaving a stick across a blank page to make intricate patterns which come together to form some mysterious human code. I open my mouth and whine, "Food! Give me food!" She looks up, smiles and pets my head, tiny under her large hands. I shrink away and tell at her again, "Food!" She turns back to her page.


I sit and stare at her for a while. Stupid humans. At that moment my smaller master walks in and open her mouth to release some foreign babble. Then I hear a series of blunt sounds which I have come to recognise as what they call me. She walks over to me with her arms outstretched saying my name and a bunch of other familiar combinations of sounds. "Yes!" I think, "I have a plan." For I have not forgotten what it is I desire most. I leap from the table and land gracefully on all fours as all cats do. I slink over to the white box look back at my little master, bat my eyes and say, "Food."


Of course she follows me, smiles and babbles for a while until I hear the flow of sounds I recognise as their word for food. I purr with satisfaction at her conclusion of my actions. She opens the white box and takes out a can of Fish Friskies. Food. What more could a cat ask for?
